What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is an ancient Japanese technique for energetic healing. It is a safe complementary therapy that promotes balance in the mind body and spirit.
Reiki is a painless, non manipulative, non invasive treatment which does not interfere with medical treatments of any kind.
0Common reasons why people seek a Reiki Treatment:
Overall mental, emotional, physical and spiritual healing
Benefits include stress reduction, relaxation, is known to promote healing, and is known to have many profound effects on your health and well being - some that may not be obvious until some time after your session.
How does it work? - Reiki is predominantly performed with the patient lying on a massage table, the Reiki practitioner hovering their hands 5-10cm above the area in need of 'Reiki energy'. Some treatments may be better performed with hands on healing - as agreed with the patient and the practitioner.
What will you experience during a treatment?
The Reiki experience is completely unique, subjective and changeable, and sometimes subtle. During a treatment you may feel;
- heat from the practitioners hands
- tingling sensations, vibrations or cascading waves of energy throughout the body
- deep relaxation
- feeling centered and empowered
Exhausted? Feel like the world is throwing you about? Not responding to stress the way you used to - or would like to? Not feeling yourself? Come and be grounded, whilst you relax with peaceful tranquil music.
